The Love Mussels Save The World Recording

It was a great weekend recording Brett’s band The Love Mussels’ forthcoming album The Love Mussels Save The World in Brett’s studio Sodypop Studios.

There was great playing from Liv Bafile, Denis Surmon, Kym Winter-Dewhirst and Brett Sody and great arrangements that were workshopped as we were recording.

We got a fantastic trademark Sodypop drum sound out of Liv’s kit – a testament to the studio and the gear.

Hopefully the world of music, gigs, festivals is all opening up again and a few more jobs come through the studio.

You can contact me or Brett and make a booking to record while things are still quiet.

We’re keen to get more people’s music out there and this studio is a fantastic place to record acoustic instruments with a great relaxed vibe, a good open space and no sound leakage in or out.

Rates are generally $75 per hour but I’m prepared to say that there’s some wriggle room there depending on the project so get in touch with me or Brett.
